GLASGOW 2014:
THE BEST GAMES EVER?
It wasn’t long after the lights over Hampton Park were shut down for the final time
on the 2014 Commonwealth Games that the eulogies started. It seemed that the
Glasgow Games had the whole of the United Kingdom united in self-congratulation.
They certainly got far more things right than they got wrong, and The Gold Coast –
host of the 2018 tournament – can take much away from Glasgow.
So let’s take a
look back at the Games...
