s a young player, what first attracted
you to the game of Golf Croquet?

After trying the game out a few
times with some friends, I started to really enjoy the
mental/tactical part of the game. Golf Croquet not only
requires good technique but also the ability to think
well under pressure, a challenge I really enjoy.
How popular is the sport amongst younger people? Is it
attracting more participation from younger players or is
it dominated by older players?
In New Zealand, Golf Croquet is quickly growing
in popularity, especially among young people. The
NZ Under 21 competition this year had close to thirty
entries and all the players involved were playing at
a high level. A telling statistic is that at the NZ Open
Nationals, the quarter finalists were made up of 7
players under the age of 30.
What is your ambition in the sport and where are you
currently ranked? What titles have you won?
I recently achieved my goal of winning the World
Under 21 title. My next goal is to be the first person to
defend that title as well as to become the youngest ever
